GEPA as a Fair Trade Company supports local producers and is committed to positive living and working conditions, education and health in developing countries. Among other things, this project is also influenced by the orientation of GEPA, the fair treatment of people and a transparent trade.
The scarf collection relates to our interest in light, playful patterns and colours. Various techniques such as digital printing, screen printing, and weaving were used on cotton, silk and viscose. As GEPA manufactures in developing countries and embraces local working traditions and habits, production processes and special capabilities had to be taken into account in the design, which led to an interesting handling and exchange.
