"We really love to work with fabrics and textiles. It is intriguing how they convey familiarity and evoke emotions. Yarn in combination with technologies and creativity result in interesting materials. Our idea was to translate these wonderful achievements into solid three-dimensional forms and structures."
BOBINA is made of yarn in combination with resin. The construction is built by wrapping yarn threads around a mould. In essence, the manufacturing process is comparable to weaving or even basketry. The developed process and material enable creating three-dimensional textile structures, which are stable but still have the sense of textile.
